In the first look, I could not recognize that it was a painting. I thought it was a real photo. I wonder how the artist has managed to draw such a realistic painting. The water and flames are really stunning.

Aivazovsky was a famous marine painter. He did quite a few stunning seascapes. However, I think the original painting is very big in size, which makes it look so realistic: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivan_Aivazovsky
